Al Pitcher

Al is based in Sweden and tours across the globe, In recent years he has been invited to NZ , Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals and Montreal’s prestigious Just for Laughs festival. In 2009 The Al Pitcher Picture Show won three awards: Time Out Sydney People’s Choice, Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and Newcastle/Gateshead Festival Director’s Pick of the Fest.
As well as his stand-up, Al was controversially (being a Kiwi…) the voice of Fosters Lager, has written for BBC Radio 1 and provided TV warm-up for Argumental (Dave) Two Pints of Lager and A Packet of Crisps (BBC3) and The Cube (ITV1). From 2008-2010 Al featured regularly on BBC6 Music’s Jon Richardson Show and stars in the new series of Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3)
