JJ hails from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia but has called England his home for the last decade , although he has made a name for himself worldwide, making people laugh in China, Australia, Holland, Dubai, France, USA and New Zealand to name but a few. He recently filmed his own 1 hour TV special for Comedy Now in North America.
The impact of his edgy delivery and unique perspective has been such that he was the winner of the prestigious BBC Comedy Award in 2000, has been short-listed for an Edinburgh Writers Guild Award and broken the ticket sales record for Camden Fringe Festival.
