Lee Nelson

Simon Brodkin is one of the country’s most exciting comedians, with a huge talent for creating and portraying an array of instantly recognisable and hilarious characters. Building in popularity, he has made regular contributions to BBC Threes The Wall, and appeared as a core cast member of Al Murray’s sketch show for ITV1, Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder, which broadcast in early 2009 and led to his own TV show, Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show, on BBC3.

Simon performed his first solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006. This sold out every night, and won the Writer’s Guild Award for Best Newcomer. He took Simon Brodkin is Lee Nelson to the 2008 Edinburgh festival. This was praised for Simon’s sharp, quick-fire verbal sparring (The Scotsman) as well as his solid gold material (Chortle).
