Adam Bloom is a comedic force to be reckoned with, known for his quick wit and undeniable talent on stage. From a young age, Adam showed a natural gift for comedy, earning him the nickname “The Voice” from his parents. At just 10 years old, he declared his intention to become a comedian, and by 23, he had made that dream a reality.

Adam’s rise to fame was swift and impressive. He made his television debut on BBC TV’s The Stand Up Show and went on to star alongside Norman Lovett in the comedy series Asylum. His comedic prowess also landed him a role in a six-part comedy drama on the Paramount Comedy Channel.

In 1997, Adam showcased his stand-up skills on various shows, including The Comedy Network, All Over The Shop, and Live At Jongleurs. He even appeared on Ch5’s Bring Me The Head Of Light Entertainment. His talent didn’t go unnoticed, and he performed his first sell-out solo show at the 1996 Edinburgh Festival, followed by another successful show the following year.

Adam’s breakout year came in 1998 when he not only appeared on Edinburgh or Bust for Ch4 but also won the prestigious Polygram Punter Comedy Award and the Time Out Award for Best Stand-up. Television appearances continued to pour in, including The Stand-up Show, The Young Persons Guide to Becoming a Rock Star, Stop The World, and The Jack Docherty Show.

The following year, Adam’s comedy reached international audiences as he made his debut at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, receiving rave reviews and a warm reception. He also appeared on the Dutch TV show The Comedy Factory and performed at the Kilkenny Comedy Festival. Back at the Edinburgh Festival, Adam’s own television special, Adam Bloom Beyond a Joke, aired as part of Ch4’s Comedy Lab series.

Adam’s career continued to flourish, with appearances on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, another series of Bring Me The Head Of Light Entertainment, and successful sets at the Sydney Comedy Festival. His roving stand-up performance for SKY TV’s Apocalypse Tube further showcased his comedic talents.
