As the top black comedian on the UK comedy circuit, Rudi Lickwood is far more than just a stand-up. Awarded status in the ‘Black 100+’ awards for the greatest Black British Achievers, Rudi’s inclusion offered great acknowledgement for years of work challenging the way black communities are viewed from within and by others. Recognition of his achievements came in 2004 as Rudi received the prestigious honour of the BECA comedy award for outstanding contribution to comedy. Rudi has toured in Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia, keeping the troops entertained.
