Biography
Alex Mitchell is a comedian who proudly draws on his experiences as a queer, autistic, disabled person, using self-deprecating humour and sharp observational material to create a hilarious yet heart-warming atmosphere wherever he performs. Laughing at himself, his neurodivergence, disability, and sexuality, Alex reflects on some of the most difficult subjects in his own life and wider society—making him a truly “funny and fearless” comic.
In 2024, Alex appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, reaching the final after winning his semi-final by public vote—the only comic to do so. Each of his performances on the show has individually amassed tens of thousands of views online. Following this success, he has appeared on Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, and Heart Radio Breakfast.
This summer, Alex made his debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his critically acclaimed solo show Tics Towards Puffection.
