Dan Atkinson is a multifaceted talent, boasting prowess as a writer, producer, and stand-up comedian with a career spanning over a decade. Behind the camera, he has played instrumental roles in shaping some of television’s most successful programs. Notably, he served as a producer for the first six seasons of The Russell Howard Hour, airing on Sky Max and Sky One. The show garnered immense popularity, amassing over 500 million views across social media platforms and featuring captivating interviews with notable figures such as Ed Sheeran and Greta Thunberg.

Prior to his tenure on The Russell Howard Hour, Dan contributed as both a producer and writer for Russell Howard’s Good News, a BBC Three and BBC Two production that consistently drew in over 3 million viewers per episode. His production portfolio extends to programs like Unspun with Matt Forde on Dave and Live at the Electric on BBC Three, where he also flexed his skills as a script editor.

Dan’s talents extend beyond production, earning him a Chortle Award nomination for Best UK Compere.
