Biography

Trevor Crook’s comedy journey began in 1991 at the Sydney Comedy Store, where he quickly made a name for himself. Within just two months, he landed his first booking, showcasing his undeniable talent. It wasn’t long before Trevor made his television debut, impressing audiences with his comedic prowess in just six months. To top off an incredible first year, he triumphed in the Sydney Comic of the Year competition, cementing his status as a rising star in the comedy scene.

Building on his early success, Trevor rapidly ascended to headlining status, regularly gracing the stage at the renowned Comedy Store and embarking on tours with esteemed comedians like Jimeoin, Ben Elton, and David Strassman. His television appearances on popular shows such as The Midday Show, Tonight Live, and Hey Hey Saturday further solidified his comedic presence.

In 1996, Trevor ventured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he received acclaim and accolades for his exceptional performances. This propelled him into a new chapter of his career, leading him to work extensively in England and Europe. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first Australian comic to have performed in the Arctic Circle, a testament to his global appeal and adventurous spirit.
